This shopping center was built in phases between 1980-1990. While its construction and finish was very solid, its appearance was quite dated in relation to the new retail centers close by. Its location in a very dense neighborhood made its success quite integral to the city. The Owners wanted to accent its major tenants with new modern facades while giving the small shop facades an fresh appearance as well. The new exterior is composed of large format porcelain tile, stucco, silver metallic finishes and complete exterior lighting upgrades to LED. The resulting center is hard to distinguish from a new development and the existing façade that was retained blends in well with the new.
